Periodic Inspection Instructions
The KIOSK V is an attended device; contact an ID TECH representative with any questions for the
device’s daily use.
Users are also required to complete the following checks daily:
•
Check the device overlay to make sure it is intact.
•
Power on the device to check the beeper and the display message:
o
Make sure there is no beeping that indicates the tamper was triggered.

Read the firmware version to make sure the version number is correct.

Check the device appearance to make sure there are no holes on the

device or any suspicious objects around the ICC card slot.

Decommissioning PCI-Certified Devices
All PCI-certified devices require proper decommissioning prior to device disposal in order to ensure
