RAID Configuration Precatuions
Support the four types of RAID configuration as follows.
Refer to
RAID Configuration Precautions
in the
installation manual
for more details.
Cofiguration 1
*R1(1,2), R1(5,6)
HDD connection to Internal SATA Port 1,2,5,6
Cofiguration 2
R1(1,2), R1(3,4), R1(5,6), R1(7,8)
After setting
Configuration 1
, add HDD to
Internal SATA Port 3,4,7,8
Cofiguration 3
R5(1,2,3,4), R5(5,6,7,8)
Cofiguration 4
R10(1,2,3,4), R10(5,6,7,8)
* R1(1,2) menas RAID 1, which is configured as the HDD
connected to the Internal SATA port 1 and 2.
RAID Configuration Error
●
RAID Broken
: When some of the HDDs that make
up RAID are in error and then the defective HDDs are
replaced, the data cannot be recovered.
●
Degrade
: If the defective HDDs are replaced, the data
can be recovered by rebuilding the system. However,
performance may be degraded in this case.
Degraded status
is as follows. All remaining errors are
included to
RAID Broken
status.
•
RAID 1, RAID 5
: In case one of the HDDs composing
RAID is in error.
•
RAID 10
: In case one or two HDDs composing RAID
is in error.

(However, R10 (X,X,O,O) R10 (O,O,X,X)
is included to RAID Broken status.)

Monitoring
Use this option to configure Monitoring settings.

Settings
: Configure when and what the system
should monitor for.
●
Actions
: Configure alarm-out (NVR alarm-out
channel, NVR beep, camera alarm-out channel) and
notification (email, LAN1 through 5, SNS, push, alert
window) settings.
