iQ LTE Satellite Router
1 Introduction
The iQ LTE Series combines iDirect’s next-generation DVB-S2/S2X satellite connectivity with
4G-LTE creating a converged solution able to deliver reliable and persistent communications
across a wide range of use cases. Featuring an integrated Cradlepoint LTE cellular router, the
solution offers fully automated VSAT/LTE failover and failback, WAN link affinity steering,
advanced VPN connectivity, and SD-WAN configuration options for robust enterprise grade
communications.

This manual explains how to safely install and maintain the iQ LTE Router. The iQ LTE Satellite
Router is shown in
Figure 1-1 .

1.1 iQ LTE Series Common Features
The iQ LTE Satellite Router Series supports the following features:
• Single DVB-S2X (>100 Msps) demodulator
• Single A-TDMA (15 Msps) modulator
• Dual Image support
• OpenAMIP Mobility Support
• AES Encryption
• One Gig-E LAN Port dedicated for user traffic (subject to hybrid path management)
• One Gig-E LAN Port dedicated for dedicated SAT-only applications and management
• Console port for NMEA GPS input
• Web GUI / Web Services support
