5.2 Installing stationary monitors
Products for stationary attachment to or on technical installations are delivered by
AWG Fittings GmbH in ready-to-install condition.
All that remains to be done for installation is to screw and seal the product to the technical in-
stallation and connect the extinguishing agent supply.
WARNING!
Unsuitable installation surface
The product can work loose if installed on an inadequately dimensioned installation surface.
 The installation surface must be able to absorb the forces to be expected during operation
and to bear the weight of the product.
 The operator is responsible for selecting an appropriate installation surface.
 A product that is not securely attached or works loose may cause injuries.
The product is suitable for a wide range of applications. The operator bears sole responsibility
for selecting the installation surface. It is also the responsibility of the operator to ensure that the
necessary preconditions for installation are met.
Preconditions for installation:
• The bore holes in accordance with the drilling pattern for the mounting flange have been
drilled.
• The supply line for the extinguishing agent has been installed.
• Suitable fastening equipment is available.

Fastening equipment is not included in the scope of delivery.
– AWG Fittings GmbH recommends the use of stainless steel bolts.
Required tools:
• Standard tools
Installation:
1) Place the product in position on the prepared installation surface.
2) Insert bolts and tighten evenly by hand, working diagonally.

24.
3) Using a torque wrench, tighten the bolts in three passes, working diagonally.
