Remove all packaging materials and check the device and its accessories for possible damages.

FIRST USE
1.
The upper (4) and lower (5) baking plates are covered with non-stick coating. Use only utensils
made of suitable synthetic material or wood in order not to damage it. Utensils must not have
sharp corners and edges.
2.
Connect the power plug to an appropriate socket. The indicator lamp (1) lights up. When using
for the first time, characteristic odour can be emitted which does not indicate, however, that the
device is defective; it is the result of burning of production residues. Ensure sufficient
ventilation. When using for the first time, leave the device switched on for approx. 30 minutes
without baking donuts.

Switch the device off, allow it to cool down completely and clean it as described in the
Cleaning
and Maintenance
section.
OPERATION
Note:
If you open the lid (2) as far as it will go, it will stay in this position. The hinge at the lid is made
with some play in order for the donuts to grow and steam to be released.

Grease the baking surfaces with a little bit of fat or oil. Do not use cooking sprays!
2.
Prior to baking, allow the device to heat up for 5 minutes or at least wait until the indicator lamp
goes out. During the baking process the indicator lamp will go on and off which indicates that
the device keeps the temperature constant.
3.
Flap the lid up. Touch only the handles (3) since the device is already very hot.
4.
With a suitable spoon, fill the dough up to the rim of the 4 cavities on the lower baking plate. Do
not overfill. Remove the spilled dough.
