•
Do not exceed the battery capacity of 4000 mAh.
Only insert AAA, AA, C and D batteries.
•
Place the batteries into the battery recesses (5). To do this, push the slider (3) of the corresponding recess back and
place the battery into the recess. The plus pole (+) of the battery should be on the same side as the LED display. Let go
of the slider after inserting the batteries. This will hold the battery in place by spring force. N

•
If you want to charge 2 batteries, lay them in both left recesses. Please note that it is not possible to charge 1 or 3
batteries.
Inserting a 9 V block battery
•
This type of battery should be inserted vertically onto the charging connection for 9 V block batteries (2). Pay attention to
the polarity when inserting.
Charging the Batteries
•
Unwind the power cord (1) completely.
•
Connect the power plug to a suitable power socket. The power indicator “Power” (8) lights up and the indicator light
“Charging” (6) blinks once.
•
Insert the batteries as previously described.
•
When charging AAA, AA, C and D batteries, the indicator light "Charging" lights up. When charging a 9 V block battery,
the indicator light "Block 9 V" (7) lights up.
•
It is possible to charge AAA, AA, C and D batteries with 9 V block batteries simultaneously.
•
Ple a se re me m b e r:
Preferably charge batteries that have the same performance.
When the batteries are “full”
•
When the batteries are fully charged, then the indicator lights change colours.
•
Fo r AAA, AA , C a n d D b a tte rie s:
The indicator light “Charging” changes from red to green to show that the batteries
are charged. As soon as the green light goes on, the charger switches to trickle charge mode, which means that the
batteries will now be kept in a charged state.
•
Fo r 9 V b lo ck b a tte rie s:
The indicator light “Block 9 V" stays on when the 9 V block battery is fully charged. The
charger does not have a display to show that the battery is fully charged. To determine the approximate charging time,
please use the following example: Battery capacity 200 mAh = approx. 16 hours charging time.
Tips for the charging process
•
Fo r AAA, AA , C a n d D b a tte rie s:
After 8 hours of charging, the internal safety timer automatically switches the
device to trickle charge mode, regardless of whether the batteries are fully charged or not. The indicator light “Charging”
will automatically switch to green.
•
Fo r 9 V b lo ck b a tte rie s:
These types of batteries will still be supplied with a high-speed charging current.
•
After charging, take the batteries out of the charger to maintain the service life.
•
Loss in performance in the batteries can be prevented by regularly charging the batteries.
