1.
Remove the protective plastic film from the card

Remove the gold spacer and a silver pan-head screw from the screw set. Use the screw
to fix the spacer to the length you need for your M.2 SSD.

Take the grey heat conducting pad, remove the protective foil on both sides and apply it
to the golden surface. The heat conducting pad adheres independently.
Hint:
• Thick pad: single sided SSD
• Thin pad: SSD equipped on both sides
• If the pad is too long, you can always shorten it to the required length with scissors before
removing the protective film.
• Avoid dust and dirt between the board and the heat conducting pad and apply the heat
conducting pad immediately after removing the protective film.

Carefully insert your SSD card with the connection side at an angle of approx. 30° into
the M.2 socket. Make sure that groove (SSD) and tongue (base) are opposite each other.
Then press the card down and secure it to the rear end of the SSD with the second silver
screw.

Take the blue thermal pad, remove the protective foil on both sides and apply it to the
M.2 SSD. The heat conducting pad adheres independently.
6.
Place the heat sink in front of you with the rear side facing upwards. Also turn the PCIe
card so that the SSD faces the heatsink and the long edge of the card is at the same
height as the side of the heatsink where the heatsink is located.
7.
Place the PCIe card with the long side against the butt edge and then place it on the heat
sink. Tighten the heat sink with the four small black screws at all four corners.
8.
Depending on the housing you use, fasten the profile plate with the remaining large black
screws.
Note:
Before inserting the assembled PCIe card into your system, make sure that the system is
shut down and disconnected from the power supply.
