9. saFeTy PreCauTIoNs
• Do not use the product outdoors.
• The product can cause interference between the product and other devices. Make sure that the
interference does not have an effect on the devices that are installed close to the product.
• Before you operate the product, make sure that the voltage on the type plate of the product is
the same as the voltage of the connected power supply. When the voltages are not the same,
refer to your ICY BOX dealer. Only use the supplied power supply to connect the product to
power outlet.
• Do not expose the product to moisture or water. Do not put objects that contain liquids on the
product (for example, vases).
• Do not expose the product to heat sources (for example, heating equipment or direct sunlight).
• Make sure that there is enough free space around the product for ventilation.
• Higher temperature will appear when it is used, as this is an electronically product. This will not
affect the product itself.
• Please backup all data stored to the IB-MP309HW-B. ICY BOX shall not be liable to loss of
information.
• Do not open the product. When you have technical difficulties, contact your ICY BOX dealer.
The socket – outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible.
In case of emergency, it is necessary to be able to disconnect the device immediately from the
electrical network by disconnecting the device power cable either from the outlet or from the
device inlet.
Other devices connected to IB-MP309HW-B should be compliant with safety regulations and
should be

(safety extra low voltages) devices or circuits in order for IB-MP309HW-B to
fulfill the safety requirements.
