Usage of memory card slots
SD card
Insert the SD card into the SD card slot with the bevelled corner in front of it. The golden
PIN’s of the card must be directed
downwards
(blue LED at the top).
microSD card
Insert the microSD card into the microSD card slot with the bevelled corner in front of it. The
golden PIN’s of the card must be directed upwards (blue LED at the top).
Single-LUN
- the card reader can only work with one memory card at a time
Note:
In order to power and charge your connected laptop, its USB Type-C
®
port must
support USB Power Delivery or Thunderbolt
™

Important
1.
When connecting the USB Type-C
®
plug of the IB-DK4028-CPD to a Chrome-
book
™
, the mouse to be connected to the USB 3.0 Type-A port will not work imme-
diately, but with a few seconds delay. This problem also occurs with other similar
Type-C
®
adapters (including Apple original 3-in-1 adapter) when connecting to
a Chromebook
™
.
2.
Attention
! When plugging in and out a Power Delivery adapter to the Type-C
®
interface of the IB-DK4028-CPD, the connected USB devices will get disconnected
flashily and then reconnect within a few seconds. In order to prevent possible data
loss or corruption, do not disconnect the Power Delivery adapter from AC power
while data transfer is in process.
