7. Replace the PC cover and reconnect the power cable of the PC.
8. The backplane is now ready for use.
Note: A new SSD must first be initialized, partitioned and formatted in the operating system in order to
be recognized and displayed by the system.
Drive installation
Attention!
The host must support the HotPlug function to support the HotSwap function for the U.2 SSD.
If your motherboard does not support the HotPlug function, you must first install the SSD and then turn on
the computer. Otherwise, the SSD will not be recognized.
1. If the door is locked, use the key to unlock. Press the latch to release the door handle.
2. Slide the tray out of the housing and insert the SSD into the tray gently.
3. Use the screws to fix the SSD on the bottom.
4. Slide the tray back into the housing and close the door. Lock the door if needed.
