8.8 Assemble components

A Make sure the snap ring spring is in

the correct position.

B Make sure the spring is in the correct

position.

8.9 Install starter cover.

A Pull out cord 4-6” (0-5 cm). Slowly

release while placing cover to allow

pawls to engage.

8.20 Install starter cover screws.

A Use blue Loctite”.
B Torque to 60 in-lbs. (6.8 Nm).
