3.2.2 Open/Close COM port

After the serial wire connection is established between IR-712A and host PC, users can click

“Open” button to open COM port of the PC. The parameters of the serial communication on the

utility should be the same as the settings in the IR-712A.



The settings of the serial interface are described as follows:

Baud Rate : The baud rate for the COM port (9600~115200 bps

3.2.3 Set Device & IR Command Quantity

The IR device & command quantity for learning can be configured in this section. Please click

“Set Device & IR Command Quantity” button (Figure 3-9) to set them up in three steps (Figure

3-10 ~ Figure 3-13).


