IF THE MAIN POWER SWITCH TURNS ITSELF OFF

This almost certainly means that the system has detected an unsafe electrical fault or electricity leakage.

Is your power socket and any electrical extension cable properly earthed with a 3 pin plug and socket?

If no earth is present the safety system may turn off your iCool. A proper earth is required for safety.

Make sure no one is in any attached pool and no one is touching any metal part of the iCool unit.

Try turning the switch back on.

IF IT TURNS OFF AGAIN THIS INDICATES A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. HAVE YOUR
ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY AND THE iCOOL CHECKED BY A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN BEFORE
ALLOWING ANYONE TO USE IT AGAIN. CONTACT iCOOL FOR ADVICE.

IF THE SYSTEM RUNS BUT DOES NOT COOL

Are you operating the system on a generator?

Are you operating from a power socket that does not have a sufficient rating to start the cooling compressor.

The iCool can operate all systems on much less power than it takes to start the refrigeration compressor. That
means that if your power supply is inadequate it will appear to be working correctly but you are not providing
sufficient current to start the compressor.

The refrigeration compressor has it’s own overload safety circuit and if it can not get sufficient current to start,
after about 30 seconds it will shut down and re try a few minutes later. This has no effect on all the other iCool
systems and they can still continue to operate normally as they need far less current.

To start the cooling you need 15 Amps for a 220 Volt iCool or 30 Amps for a 110 Volt unit.

Even though your iCool only needs about one third of this current to keep operating once the cooling com-
pressor has started, it may not be able to start the cooling compressor again after it has shut down when the
water has reached the pre set temperature.

THIS IS NOT A FAULT , YOU SIMPLY NEED TO PROVIDE ENOUGH POWER

Are the words SOUND SYSTEM showing on the LCD display and a picture of a loud speaker? If not the ste-
reo amplifiers are not turned on. Hold the Sound System Key for 3 to 5 seconds until a beep is heard and
these items on the LCD are showing. Once turned on the amplifiers will stay on unless you turn them off.

You will not hear sound if using the iPod cradle unless you turn up the volume using the arrow keys.

You can not use the arrow keys to control the sound system unles you first touch the SOUND SYSTEM key
briefly again after using the same key to turn on the amplifiers. When these keys can control the sound system
they are the only keys illuminated, otherwise after 20 seconds of non use this group of keys will revert back to
being available for other settings and all keys will be illuminated again.

So remember you can only operate the sound system using an iPod when only the setting keys are illuminat-
ed, so you must touch the SOUND SYSTEM key briefly each time you want to change the sound to enable the
setting keys.

iCool uses only *Greenfreeze Technology* Hydrocarbon refrigerants which use 65% less gas when used as
a replacement for HCFC/CFCs and are up to 20% more power efficient. They are made from only naturally
occurring gases, and cause no damage to the environment. The refrigerant is not normally toxic to humans. It
is flammable, but only in the unlikely event that it is accidentally released near an ignition source, however
large scale real world testing in hundreds of thousands of motor vehicles and millions of domestic refrigerators
over several years has found no overall decrease in safety whatsoever compared to all common refrigerants.
