INSTALLATION (continued)
- Locate stud in wall and mark outside edges of stud.
- Determine the desired height of the loudspeaker and mark the location of the male mounting plates.
- Using a male mounting plate as a template, align two of the mounting holes with the center of the stud.
- Mark points on the wall in the centre of the holes where mounting screws will be positioned.
- Set aside the male mounting plate and using the 5/32” drill bit, drill holes at the marked points over the stud.
Then drill two 5/8” holes at the toggle bolt locations.
- Using the toggle bolts loosely secure the mounting plate to the wall and use the 1/4” socket and driver to secure
the mounting plate by screwing the wood bolts into the stud.
Tighten the toggle bolts.
- Repeat until all male mounting plates are installed.
Note: The male mounting plate with an attached slotted locking strap goes
in the bottom location.
- Using the #2 Philips screwdriver remove the oval head machine screws from the
mounting cavities on the rear of the loudspeakers.
- Using the #2 Philips screwdriver and the oval head machine screws removed in the
previous step, attach the female mounting plates to the loudspeaker.
- Lift the loudspeaker onto the hinge pins.
- Secure the loudspeaker in place by attaching the metal locking strap to the bottom of
the loudspeaker using the machine screw provided.
- Installation is complete.
