Rapid charging with the BC-190

Attach the BC-190 to a flat surface, such as a desk, if desired.

Connect the AC adapter as shown below.

Insert the battery pack with/without the transceiver into the charger.
• The charge indicator lights orange.

Charge the battery pack approximately 2.5 to 4.25 hours, de
-
pending on the remaining power condition and whether the
transceiver’s power is ON/OFF.
• The charge indicator lights green when charging is completed.
AC adapter

Ensure the guide lobes
on the battery pack are
correctly aligned with
the guide rails inside of
the charger.
