BATTERY CHARGING

■

Battery installation

Before installing, or replacing the battery pack, be sure to turn
OFF the transceiver. If it’s ON, push and hold

[PWR]

for 1

sec. to turn the power OFF.

Remove the battery cover from the transceiver.

Install the BP-243 (Li-Ion battery pack).

• Be sure to observe the correct polarity.

Replace the battery cover to the transceiver.

Keep the battery contacts clean to avoid rust or poor con-
tact. It’s a good idea to clean the battery terminals once a
week.
