Step 3 – Input the Channel Label 

 
A very nice feature the IC – M802 has is the ability to label your 
stations so they are easily recognizable as you dial through the 
frequencies.  For example next month you may not remember 
that 15000.0 and 7.2233.5 are WWV and the Baja net 
respectively.

There are two displays  

a.

 

The Frequency Indication display has the 
receive frequency in large numbers in the 
middle of the display and the transmit 
frequency below the receive frequency.  For 
Simplex operation the two frequencies will 
be the same while for duplex they will be 
different.
