BASIC OPERATION
■
Forced Narrow function
Dependng on the pre-programmed settngs, you can turn the
Forced Narrow functon ON or OFF.
When the functon s ON, the channel wdth becomes Narrow
regardless of the channel settng, the [Wde/Narrow] key op-
eraton, repeater settng, or PC control command.
To actvate or cancel the Forced Narrow functon, turn the
power ON whle holdng down both [P1] and [PTT].
Dependng on the pre-programmed settngs, the Forced Nar-
row functon s ntally turned ON by your dealer.

Automatic Key Lock function
When the transcever has a key assgned to Lock, the Auto-
matc Key Lock functon can be used.
When no operaton occurs durng the pre-programmed tme
perod, the functon automatcally actvates the Key Lock
functon.
When the Key Lock functon s ON, hold down [Lock] untl
“LOCK OFF” s dsplayed to turn t OFF.

Power Off Emergency function
When the transcever has a key assgned to Power OFF
Emergency, you can use the functon.
Ths functon makes the transcever transmt emergency calls,
even though t appears to be powered OFF.
To actvate the Power OFF Emergency functon, turn the
power OFF whle holdng down [Power OFF Emergency].
When the functon s actvated, any key operaton, the ON/OFF
Hook and Lone Worker functons become nvald. The beep,
LED ndcator, dsplay and speaker are turned OFF as well.
On the other hand, the transcever can transmt emergency
calls accordng to the pre-programmed emergency settngs.
Dependng on the pre-programmed settngs, the Ambence
Lstenng functon can also be used. (dPMR operaton only)
To cancel the Power OFF Emergency functon and restore
the transcever, turn the power ON.
