Appears when the battery is nearing exhaustion.

Appears and flashes when battery replacement is nec-

FREQUENCY DISPLAY

BUSY INDICATORS

“BUSY” appears when receiving a signal or when the
squelch is open.

MEMORY LOCKOUT INDICATOR

”SKIP” appears when the memory channel is set as
lockout channel.

MEMORY CHANNEL INDICATOR
➥
Shows the memory channel number.
➥
When the transceiver output power increases above a
specified level, a protection circuit stops the transmitting,
then “--” appears on the display instead of the memory
channel number. Release [PTT] then push it again to
continue transmitting.
