8-5-2 Manual Focus
1.
Ensure device is in manual mode. Press and hold; then, release the A Key
to switch between automatic and manual mode.
2.
Align the subject to the center of the screen; then, press + or - on the
directional pad to adjust the focus. When the target comes into focus,
it shows a sharp, clear image. When the target moves out of focus, the
thermal image becomes blurry.

Capture videos as follows:
1.
Press the Record button to begin recording video.
2.
Press the Record button again to stop recording.

Capture images as follows:
1.
Press the S Key to freeze an image preview on the screen.
2.
Press and hold the S Key to save the image.
3.
Press the S Key to exit the freeze screen.

Focus
Correct focus is important in all imaging applications. Correct focus makes sure
that the infrared energy is correctly directed onto the pixels of the detector.
Without the correct focus, the thermal image can be blurry, and the radiometric
data will be inaccurate.
Users can adjust focus automatically or manually. Press and hold; then, release
the A Key to switch between automatic and manual mode.

Ensure device is in automatic mode. Press and hold; then, release the A
Key to switch between automatic and manual mode.
2.
Align the subject to the center of the screen; then, press the center button
of the directional pad. The motor automatically adjusts the image focus
until the subject is clear.
