5. Connect the IQ550BFF to power
5.1 Dual voltage models
–
Connect the IQ550BFF AC power cord to a properly grounded receptacle outlet
with sufficient electrical capacity (extension cords are not recommended). Then,
connect the IQ550BFF DC power cord to a DC power source. After both the
AC and DC power connections have been made, mount the thermostat or other
sensing device (not provided) in an appropriate monitoring location.
5.2 Single voltage AC models
–
Connect the IQ550BFF AC power cord to a properly grounded receptacle outlet
with sufficient electrical capacity (extension cords are not recommended). After
the AC power connection has been made, mount the thermostat or other
sensing device (not provided) in an appropriate monitoring location.
5.3 Single voltage DC models
–
Connect the IQ550BFF DC power cord to a DC power source. After the AC
power connection has been made, mount the thermostat or other sensing
device (not provided) in an appropriate monitoring location.
6.
Although the IQ550BFF has been factory tested, it is recommended that it be checked
to confirm it is operational. Please see sequence of operation section.
6.1 Dual voltage models
–
Disconnect the AC power supply. The fan should immediately start to operate and
the dampers will move to the open position.
6.2 Single voltage models
–
Set the thermostat to a temperature lower than the ambient air temperature. The
fan should immediately start to operate and the dampers will move to the open
position. For alternate sensing device simulate the above.
