hoW to Use the applianCe:
Please read before using the appliance and
pay special attention to points 1 and 2.
1. use the toaster without bread the first time.
this pre-heats the new elements and burns
away any dust that may have accumulated
during storage.
2. Select the desired level of browning with
the control. the required setting may vary
according to the moisture content and
thickness of the slice of bread. to achieve the
best results, the slices of bread must have a
similar thickness, freshness and size.
Remember that dry bread toasts faster than
fresh and that thin slices of bread toast faster
than thick ones. Please refer to other points
for more information.
3. When you have selected the browning level
you prefer, place the bread in the bread slots
and press the bread lever down until it
remains in the locked position.
Please note: the bread lever will not lock unless
the toaster is connected to the mains power
supply and the power supply is switched on.
4. When the toast is ready, the bread pops up
automatically and can be removed from the
slots. the bread lever will have returned to its
upper position and the heating element
switches off, ready for the next toasting.
if the first slices of toast are not toasted
enough, you can turn the browning control to a
higher setting. if the bread gets jammed in the
toaster: Disconnect the plug from the wall
socket, allow the toaster to cool and then
remove the bread. When the toaster is not in
use, it should be switched off and the plug
should be disconnected from the wall socket.

hoW to Use the CanCel setting
if you want to stop toasting, press the ”cancel” button.
hoW to Use the defrost BUtton
to toast frozen bread: Do not adjust the
browning setting; place the bread in the bread
slots as usual, press the lever down and press
the defrost button. the light beside the button
lights up and the toaster automatically toasts
for a longer period.
hoW to Use the reheat BUtton
if the toasted bread has popped up and cooled,
you can use the toaster’s reheat option. Press
the bread lever down and immediately press the
reheat button. the light beside the button lights
up and the toaster warms the bread for a while.
CrUmB traY
Crumbs accumulate in the crumb tray and may
catch fire if the tray is not emptied from time to
time. tap the sides of the toaster once it has
cooled completely to loosen any crumbs that have
accumulated in the toasting space so they fall
down into the crumb tray. empty the tray and then
replace it. Never use the toaster without the
crumb tray in place.
