D. IB881 CMOS Backup Feature
IB881 can backup CMOS data that has been changed and saved last
time.
The CMOS data will be reloaded from EEPROM when CMOS is lost,
such as in the case of battery failure.
If you would like to load original Optimized Defaults to test, for any
reason, please follow the instructions below.
1.
Turn off IB881.
2. Clear CMOS by changing jumper location from 1-2 to 2-3 of JP2.
3. Return jumper to location 1-2 of JP2.
4. Keep pressing Insert key then turn on IB881.
IB881 stops at first boot screen and shows CMOS checksum error –
Defaults loaded message.
5. Press DEL key to enter BIOS Setup screen and modify settings.
6. Press F10 function key then Enter key to save settings and exit.
CMOS data will be backup to EEPROM also.
