Multiplexers
CMXs are used to connect the peripheral devices to the Expansion
Bus via a link cable and a MIM-1. The CMX is usually located in the
immediate area of the devices to be connected. Figure 4-1 shows the
link cable connection between the MIM-1 and the CMX.
Included with each CMX are two wall mounting brackets and four
screws. Attach one mounting bracket to the top right side of the unit
and attach the other bracket to the bottom left side of the unit. Refer
to Figure 3-3 for the approximate location of the mounting bracket
screw holes. Note: CMXs are wall mounted the same as port
modules See Chapter 3 for details.
Each Multiplexer Set is supplied with one of the following external
power adapters:
•
Power Adapter PN 37L1482 for 120 VAC power source
•
Power Adapter PN 37L1491 for 230 VAC power source
Figure 4-2 shows the location of the Power Adapter Jack.
