Installing internal options-desktop model

Installing internal drives

To install an internal drive, following these steps.

Note:

If your computer has a CD-ROM drive, you might need to remove the signal and power
cables from the drive.

1.

Remove the cover (see

”Removing the cover” on page 15

).

2.

Lift the latch that secures the CD-ROM drive mounting tray.

3.

Install the drive into the bay. Align the screw holes and insert the two screws.

4.

Slide in the drive and engage the latch to secure drive cage.

5.

Connect the power and signal cables to the drive.
