IBM posts SPEC CPU2006 scores for BladeCenter HS21 dual-core blade
May 13, 2008 ... IBM® BladeCenter® HS21 blade servers, coupled with the BladeCenter chassis,
deliver advanced application serving with performance, power efficiency, and scalability, all of
which makes them ideal for enterprise environments.
The HS21 blade server, using Intel’s latest dual-core technology, has demonstrated competitive
performance on the SPEC CPU2006 benchmark suite.
The scores in the following tables are the first SPEC CPU2006 results published for the HS21
blade model using the Dual-Core Intel® Xeon® Processor L5240 (3.00GHz, 6MB L2 cache,
1333MHz FSB, 40W). (1) These results were achieved using SUSE Linux® Enterprise Server 10
x64.
