Replace

and
close

If
cleaning
the
MICR
read
head
does
not
solve
a
problem
you
are
having,
it
might
be
that
you
are
experiencing
electromagnetic
noise
interference.
Sources
of
electromagnetic
noise
(for
example,
displays,
security
towers,
and
other
sources)
can
interfere
with
the
MICR
read
head.
The
printer
is
equipped
to
filter
noise
from
many
devices.
If
the
MICR
reader
does
not
function
properly,
rearranging
the
printer
relative
to
the
noise
source
may
improve
MICR
reading.
The
noise
source
should
be
as
far
away
as
possible
from
the
right
side
of
the
printer.
