Connect the internal battery connector

- see graphics on previous page for

more details - after pulling it out of the holder in the cover door with the

connector on the battery.

Note: A small amount of arcing might occur when you connect the batteries.

This is normal and does not damage the unit or present any safety

concern.

Close the metal battery cover

, then slide the cover slightly to the right and

then to the left

. Tighten the thumbscrew

- this may require the #5 flat-

head screwdriver.
