Funktionen und Leistungsmerkmale

Taste POWER W/LIGHT
Diese Taste schaltet das Gerät sowie die
Hintergrundbeleuchtung ein oder aus.
Wenn die Taste einige Sekunden lang gedrückt
wird, schaltet sich das Gerät ein, und der LCD-
Bildschirm leuchtet auf.
Wenn die Taste nach dem Einschalten kurz
gedrückt wird, wird die Hintergrundbeleuchtung
ein- oder ausgeschaltet.
Wenn die Taste im eingeschalteten Zustand
einige Sekunden lang gedrückt wird, schaltet sich
das Gerät aus.

Taste FLAT
Wenn Sie die Taste FLAT drücken, können Sie die
Referenznote (A, A#, B, C, C#, D, D#, E, F, F#, G,
G#) einen Halbton bis zwei Ganztöne nach unten
verschieben.
Wenn Sie die Taste FLAT drücken, wird

Taste CALIB
Diese Taste stellt die Referenztonhöhe ein (die Fre-
quenz der Note A).
Wenn Sie die Taste CALIB drücken, können Sie die
Referenztonhöhe in Schritten von 1 Hz im Bereich
von 435 Hz bis 445 Hz einstellen (Vorgabe = 440 Hz).

Taste MIC/CLIP
Mit dieser Taste wird ausgewählt, ob der Schall über
das integrierte Mikrofon oder über Vibrationen des
Instruments über den Clip aufgenommen werden soll.
CLIP-Eingabemodus:
Wenn der Eingabemodus
(MODE) auf CLIP eingestellt
ist, wird im LCD-Bildschirm
CLIP angezeigt.

MICROPHON

Stimmrichtungs-LEDs
Bei korrekter Stimmung leuchtet die mittlere, grüne
LED auf. Die rote LED auf der linken Seite zeigt an,
dass die Tonhöhe zu niedrig ist; die rote LED auf der
rechten Seite zeigt an, dass die Tonhöhe zu hoch ist.

Functions and Features

POWER W/LIGHT Button
This button turns the power and the BACK LIGHT ON/OFF.
When the button is pressed for a few seconds, the
power turns on and the LCD screen is displayed.
When the button is pressed after the power is
turned on, the BACK LIGHT flashes on/off.
When the button is pressed for a few seconds while
on, the power turns off.

FLAT Button
When you press the FLAT button, you can tune
the reference NOTE (A, A#, B, C, C#, D, D#, E, F,
F#, G, G#) down from one semitone to two tones.
When you press the FLAT button,

CALIB Button
This button sets up the reference pitch (frequency of A) .
When you press the CALIB button, you can change the
reference PITCH with 1 Hz in the range of 435 Hz - 445 Hz
beginning from 440 Hz.

MIC/CLIP Button
This button is used to select whether to pick up
sound from the built-in MIC or to pick up the
vibrations of the instrument from the CLIP.
CLIP Input Mode
: If the input MODE is set to CLIP,
CLIP is displayed on the LCD
screen.
MIC Input Mode:
If the input MODE is set to MIC,
MIC is displayed on the LCD
screen.
The TUNER is a CHROMATIC TYPE Tuner.

MICROPHONE
If you select MIC mode with the MODE button, the
tuner picks up sound directly from the microphone.
CLIP mode does not function when MIC mode is
selected.

If you select CLIP mode with the MODE button,
the tuner picks up the vibrations of the instrument.
MIC mode does not function when CLIP mode is
selected.

Tuning Guide LED
When the tuning is correct, the center green LED
will be lit. The red LED on the left side indicates
that the pitch is low and the red LED on the right
side indicates that the pitch is high.

Fonctions de l'accordeur

Bouton POWER W/LIGHT
Ce bouton permet de mettre l'appareil sous/hors ten-
sion et d'activer/désactiver le rétroéclairage.
Si vous appuyez sur ce bouton pendant quelques
secondes, l'appareil s'allume et l'écran LCD s'affiche.
Si vous appuyez sur ce bouton après la mise sous
tension, le rétroéclairage s'allume et s'éteint.
Si vous appuyez sur ce bouton pendant quelques
secondes alors que l'appareil est allumé, celui-ci
s'éteint.

Bouton FLAT
Si vous appuyez sur le bouton FLAT, vous pouvez
régler la note de référence (A, A#, B, C, C#, D, D#,
E, F, F#, G et G#) de sorte que l'accord soit plus
bas, d'un demi-ton à deux tons.

Bouton CALIB
Ce bouton définit la hauteur de référence
(fréquence de A).
Si vous appuyez sur le bouton CALIB, vous pou-

1 Hz dans la plage de 435 à 445 Hz, en commen-
çant par 440 Hz.

Bouton MIC/CLIP
Ce bouton vous permet d'indiquer si vous souhai-
tez capter le son à partir du microphone intégré ou
les vibrations de l'instrument grâce à la pince.

Témoin indicateur d'accord
Le témoin indicateur vert central s'allume lorsque
la guitare est correctement accordée. Le témoin
indicateur jaune à gauche indique que la hauteur
est plus basse que la note de référence et le
témoin indicateur rouge à droite qu'elle est plus haute.

POWER W/LIGHT einige Sekunden lang drücken,
nachdem die Montage erfolgt ist.
Wählen Sie nun mit der CLIP/MIC-Taste den CLIP-
Modus aus und beginnen Sie zu stimmen.
Spielen Sie eine einzelne Note.
Wenn der Ton zu tief ist, leuchtet die linke rote LED auf.
Im LCD-Bildschirm befinden sich rechteckige,
stroboskopartige Blöcke, die sich von rechts nach links
bewegen und so anzeigen, dass die Tonhöhe niedriger
ist als die angezeigte Note.
Die Geschwindigkeit, mit der sich die Blöcke bewegen,
zeigen den Tonabstand von der angezeigten Note an.
Bei niedriger Geschwindigkeit ist der Tonhöhenunter-
schied gering.
Die Messanzeige auf dem LCD-Bildschirm zeigt eben-
falls die Tonhöhendifferenz von der angezeigten Note
an. Wenn die Tonhöhe zu niedrig ist, zeigt sie zur
linken Seite des Bildschirms.
Stimmen Sie so, dass die Geschwindigkeit der Blöcke
immer langsamer wird und die Messanzeige in der Mitte steht.
Wenn der Stimmvorgang beendet ist, leuchtet die grüne
LED auf, die Blöcke bewegen sich nicht mehr, und in der
Mitte der Messanzeige werden drei Nadeln angezeigt.
Wenn die rote LED angezeigt wird, ist die Tonhöhe
höher als die angezeigte Note.
Die Blöcke im LCD-Bildschirm bewegen sich von links nach
rechts, und die Messanzeige steht rechts von der Mitte.
Stimmen Sie so, dass die Geschwindigkeit der Blöcke
immer langsamer wird und die Messanzeige in der Mitte steht.
Wenn der Stimmvorgang beendet ist, leuchtet die
grüne LED auf, die Blöcke bewegen sich nicht mehr,
und in der Mitte der Messanzeige werden drei Nadeln
angezeigt.
[Im MIC-Eingabemodus]
Wenn Sie das eingebaute Mikrofon verwenden, kann
es Hintergrundgeräusche aufnehmen und Stimmfehler
verursachen. Wir empfehlen Ihnen daher, an einem
ruhigen Ort mit leisen oder gar keinen Hintergrund-
geräuschen zu stimmen, und das Instrument so nah
wie möglich am Mikrofon zu spielen. Gehen Sie dann
zum Stimmen des Instruments in der gleichen
Reihenfolge vor wie im CLIP-Eingabemodus.

Fonctionnement
[Accordage]
Pour accorder votre instrument avec précision,
procédez comme suit :

Choisissez avec soin l'emplacement d'installation de
la pince de sorte que l'accordage ne soit pas
interrompu lors de la rotation de la tête de l'instru-
ment ou inversement.
Une fois l'installation terminée, mettez l'appareil sous
tension en appuyant sur le bouton POWER W/LIGHT
pendant quelques secondes.
Sélectionnez ensuite le mode CLIP à l'aide du bouton
CLIP/MIC et commencez à accorder l'instrument.
Jouez une seule note.
Le témoin indicateur jaune allumé à gauche indique
que la hauteur est plus basse que la note affichée.
Des blocs carrés stroboscopiques apparaissent sur l'écran
LCD. Ceux-ci se déplacent de droite à gauche et indi-
quent lorsque la hauteur est inférieure à la note affichée.
La vitesse de déplacement des blocs correspond à la
différence par rapport à la note affichée. À vitesse
réduite, la différence est minime.
D'autre part, l'indicateur sur l'écran LCD reflète éga-
lement la différence par rapport à la note affichée.
Lorsque la hauteur est plus basse, l'indicateur se
dirige vers la gauche par rapport au centre de l'écran.
Accordez l'instrument jusqu'à ce que les blocs se
déplacent plus lentement et que l'indicateur se trouve
au centre.
Une fois l'accordage terminé, le témoin indicateur vert
s'allume, les blocs s'immobilisent et trois aiguilles
s'affichent au centre.

Lorsque vous utilisez le microphone intégré, un bruit
de fond peut être capté et une erreur peut survenir
lors de l'accord. Nous vous recommandons
d'accorder l'instrument dans un endroit silencieux
avec peu ou pas de bruit de fond et de jouer de l'ins-
trument aussi près que possible du microphone. Puis,
pour accorder l'instrument, suivez la même procédure
qu'en mode d'entrée CLIP.

1. Tout en appuyant sur l’onglet du couvercle de la pile à
l’arrière, retirez le couvercle en le faisant glisser.
2. Insérez la pile (CR2032) en respectant la polarité et
remettez le couvercle en place.
3. Vérifiez si le PU20 fonctionne correctement en le
mettant sous tension après le remplacement de la
pile.
Operation
[Tuning]
In order to tune your instrument accurately,
•
Do not use PU20 near audio equipment, such as a
radio or television.
•
Press down the strings lightly and once you are
finished tuning one string, mute all the strings before
moving on to the next.
TUNING Method (here is an explanation of the method
for tuning a GUITAR)
[In CLIP Input Mode]
First, install the CLIP in a visible place where the
vibrations of the guitar will be detected easily.
Carefully choose the area where you want to install
the clip, so that your tuning is not interrupted by the
turning machine head or vice versa.
When the installation is completed, turn the power ON by
pressing the POWER W/LIGHT button for a few seconds.
Next, use CLIP/MIC button to select CLIP and begin tuning.
Play a single note.
If the tone is low, the left red LED will light up.
On the LCD screen, there are square, strobe-light
blocks, which move from right to left and show when
the pitch is lower than the displayed note.
The speed by which the blocks move shows the
difference from the displayed note. When the speed
is slow, the difference is small.
On the other hand, the meter on the LCD screen also
shows the difference from the displayed note. When the
pitch is low, it points to the left of the center on the screen.
Tune until the speed of the blocks becomes slow, and
the meter points to the center.
When TUNING is completed, the green LED will light
up, the blocks stop moving, and three needles are
displayed in the center of the meter.
If the red LED indicates that the pitch is higher than
the displayed note.
The blocks on the LCD screen move from left to right,
and the meter points to the right of the center.
Tune until the speed of the blocks becomes slow and
the meter points to the center.
When TUNING is completed, the green LED is lit up,
the blocks stop to move, and three needles are
displayed in the center of the meter.
[In MIC input mode]
When you use the built-in microphone, it may catch
background noise and cause an error in tuning. We
recommend you tune in a quiet place with little or no
background noise and play the instrument as close to
the microphone as possible. Then, follow the same
process as the CLIP input mode to tune the instrument.

Hold down the tab of the battery cover on the back
and slide open the battery cover.
2. Insert the battery (CR2032) in the correct polarity
and put the battery cover back.
3. Check if PU20 operates correctly by turning on the
Power SW after replacing the battery.

Halten Sie den Zapfen der Batteriefachabdeckung
