If you need to get your bearings, check where you are on a map. You can

also explore different cities and countries.

1. In the App list, tap

Maps

2. To change the direction the map is facing, twist your thumb and forefinger

clockwise or counterclockwise on the map (as though you were screwing or

unscrewing the cap on a bottle). A compass will appear.

Tap the

Compass

to return the map to its default orientation

—with the

red arrow pointing north.

3. To turn satellite view on or off, tap

More

View options

check box, and then tap

Done

Browse the map

Drag the map with your finger. The map is oriented north.

Zoom in or out

Place two fingers on the map, and slide your fingers apart to zoom in or
