Bus number
The bus number corresponds to the PROFIBUS connection in the module tree. You
can change the bus number. In this case, the Sniffer module is displayed under the
respective PROFIBUS connection.
Command for browsing the PROFIBUS
Browse profibus
When using this command, a special version of the PROFIBUS browser is opened
(for a detailed description, please see chapter 10.4.5). With this browser, signals
from the input and output data range of the slaves can be added to the analog and
digital signals.
Browse S7 profibus symbols
With this command, you can open the Sniffer symbol browser (for a detailed de-
scription, please see chapter 10.6). With this browser, you can use the PROFIBUS
symbols available in a Step 7 project for adding signals in an interactive manner.
