Precautions pertaining to usage
・ Do not subject dome cover to strong impact.
Doing so may cause damage or immersion.
・ Do not directly touch the lens and domecover with your bare hands.
A dirty dome cover or lens causes deterioration ofpicture quality.
・ Do not hold the Dome cover, (PTZ part)
Dome cover, rotate. When you remove the camera, turn it by holding the fixing part of the
camera.
・ Cleaning this product body (PTZ part)
The camera position may be moved inadvertently while cleaning the camera body.Restart the
product or refresh the camera position (position refresh) to correct the camera position. Refer
to the User manual for further information.
・ About the stabilizer function (PTZ part)
Depending on the conditions in the installation area, effects of the stabilizer function may
notbe fully achieved.
・ Consumable parts (PTZ part)
The following are consumables: Replace them in accordance with their operating lifetimes.
Their operating lifetimes vary depending on the usage environment and conditions. The
operating lifetimes below are just guides for when using the camera at +35 °C {95 °F}.
- Consumables: Lens unit, panning motor, tilting motor, thinwire coaxial cable, flat cable for
tilting
- Lifetime: approx. 3.7 million operations (Approx.20000 hours)
・ Lens/PAN and TILT Movable Areas (PTZ part)
If the lens or the part of the lens that moves with the PAN and TILT is not operated for a long
time, the grease coating inside these parts may become sticky. That may obstruct the parts
from moving. To prevent this, move the lens or pan/tilt head periodically. Or perform position
refresh periodically in the manner described in “Position refresh”.
・ Effects on images and image quality
Under the following conditions, image quality maydeteriorate or images may become difficult to
