4 Connecting the Unit
4.1 Connection Conditions
Maximum cable length varies depending on the power source used for the receiver side
unit and the camera. Refer to the following information when connecting a camera to
the coaxial - LAN converter.
4.1.1 When using a 1-channel Receiver Side Unit
IMPORTANT
•
Use RG-6/U coaxial cable with a loop resistance of 4
W
/100 m {328 feet} or less.
If a thin coaxial cable is used, the actual connections lengths will be shorter than
the connection lengths listed in this manual.
•
When the receiver side unit is powered by PoE, use a PoE camera that consumes
no more than 6.5 W. A PoE+ camera cannot be connected.
