Parallel operation of two metal detectors
Install the detectors as shown in
Figure 4
.
To achieve the minimum spacing when in
parallel operation, put the two receive
panels (Rx) or the transmit panel (Tx) as
close as possible. In general, make the
spacing between the two receiver panels
to be the shorter distance, and the spacing
between the two transmit panels to be
larger distance.
If there are interference sources, place
the transmit panel, so it is the panel
closest to the sources of interference,
with the receiving panel on the side away
from the interference.
Select frequency combinations to
minimize interference. Do not operate
adjacent WTMD on the same frequencies.
