Setting the Alarm
Adjust the ON/OFF switch to the on position.
Tuning the Alarm Set/Reset Adjustor clockwise at the back panel of the unit.
Release it when the desired wake-up time appears.
AC power: 230V 50Hz AC
DC power: 1.5V/AA battery type (not provided) for clock back-up system only.
Insert the AC power cord into a convenient standard AC Wall outlet
Put the 1.5V/AA battery inside the battery compartment at the rear of the unit.
Battery Operation
Open the battery compartment cover, insert 1 piece1.5V/AA battery into the battery compart -
ment with correct polarity.
Then close the battery compartment cover.
IMPORTANT
Do not throw batteries in fire!
The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing.
CAUTION
Attention: do not remove the cover.There are no user
serviceable parts inside the unit. Refer all servicing to
qualified personnel.

The lightening flash with arrowhead symbol within the triangle is a warning sign alerting

IMPORTANT NOTES
This radio is designed to operate on normal 230V 50Hz AC
power only. Do not attempt to operate the radio on any other
power source. You could cause damage to the radio that is not
covered by your warranty.
