RADIO OPERATION
I. Set LOCK switch to OFF;
2. Press POWER knob to turn on the radio;
3. Adjust the desired volume by tuning VOLUME knob;
4. Select the preferred wave band (FM/AM/LW/SW) by pressing BAND button. The selected band
will appear on the display;
5. Select the preferred meter band by pressing METER button. The selected meter band will
appear on the display
6. By tuning manually or automatically, inputting the frequency directly or pressing any button of
Preset 0…9, you can search a radio station, which will be shown on the display (See TUNING);
7. Adjust the antenna (See ANTENNAS);
8. Press POWER knob to turn off the radio.
TUNING
- AUTOMATIC TUNING
Hold HOUR Set-Tuning Up or MIN Set/Tuning Down button until the display shows automatic
tuning, which searches the nearest station with sufficient signal.
- MANUAL TUNING
Every time HOUR Set/Tuning Up or MIN Set/Tuning Down button is pressed, the frequency will
be advanced by one step. Press the button continuously until finding the required frequency.
- DIRECT TUNING
Press ENTRY button in the required range band, then press Preset 0...9 to preset a radio stati-
on. Press the button again, so that you can receive the desired radio station. The unit can
recognize automatically whether the preset frequency is out of the wave band, if yes, “Err” will
appear on the display.
- TUNING THE STORED STATION
You can store 40 radio stations, 10 for each wave band.
- HOW TO STORE A RADIO STATION
1. Select the wave band and tune into the desired station;
2. To store the radio frequency, press TIME SET/MEMORY button, the indicator will flash. During
this period, press any button of Preset 0...9, then press the TIME SET/MEMORY button again,
the selected radio station is stored, and the preset number is indicated on LCD.
3. To select a stored station, first select the required wave band, and then press the desired preset
button, so that the stored station is selected and the frequency is shown on the display.
