Short Message Service Function

This chapter describes convenient function that allows you to send or receive a simple character

message with the handset and that also allows you to check a voice message left in a voice mail

service center.

Receiving a message

Character Message

When the handset receives a character message,

and

blinks on the screen, the following

message is displayed:

A message arrival is announced with ringer,

lamp, or vibration as selected by the user.

A received character message can be

up to 30 characters long.

Voice Message

When a voice message is received, the handset

Blink

and displays the following message
