DISPOSAL OF THE MACHINE
When you decide to scrap the cleaner, please take the following steps:
- drain the various tanks;
- disconnect the machine from the mains;
- cut the external supply cable;
- cut the motor supply cable;
- remove the castors;
ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION
You must observe the current local regulations regarding water supply. Pursuant to the pollution
standards, the cleaner cannot be connected directly to the public drinking water supply network
in order to prevent chemicals from entering the water mains. The Water and Gas Board does
however allow connection to the public water supply for a short time only if a check valve is
fitted in the piping. This must be fitted directly on the water tap.
Disposal of the machine’s packaging, extracted dust, parts replaced, the machine altogether,
and the various liquids must be done in an environmentally-friendly manner, without polluting
earth, air and water, and in any case complying with the relevant regulations in force.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUITABLE WASTE TREATMENT:
•
Ferrous materials, aluminium, copper: recyclable
materials to be given to an authorized collection centre.
•
Plastic materials: materials to be taken to a landfill,
incinerator or a special recycling centre.
•
Used oils: give these to an authorized collection centre
