4. STARTING PROCEDURE

Before starting make sure machine is clear of materials and all non-essential persons.

NOTE:

The machine is shipped without oil, therefore you MUST fill the engine with oil before
starting the engine. Failure to do so will result in engine damage which will not be
covered by warranty.
Fill with SAE15W40 oil and fresh unleaded petrol. Make sure the fuel and oil caps are
secure – See section 3.03

4.01

Recoil starting procedure.

Set the ignition key switch on the key start module to the ON position or for recoil
only machines, switch to ON.

Check that the emergency STOP bar is not jammed in the STOP (down) position.
It should be up to start.
