OPERATION NOTES
Read these notes before you start working with the chainsaw, and keep the
notes for future reference.
Read the instructions carefully and familiarise yourself with all of the
control elements so that you are able to safely operate the device. Always
keep these operating instructions together with the chainsaw.
Risk of hearing defects. Under normal operating conditions this device can
expose the operator to a noise level of 80 dB (A) or more.
Noise protection must be worn. Please observe local regulations when
operating this device.
Intended/Not intended use.
This product is designed to for use by a trained operator for tree service.
The chainsaw is used to;
o
Saw trunks
o
Square timbers
o
Cutting branches
o
Only material’s from wood may be worked on.
Operators of this machine, MUST read this operators manual and be fully trained and familiar with
this chainsaw and think over all possible dangers.
Sufficient Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) MUST be worn and according to the operating
instructions during use.
Damage or injuries resulting from mis-use are the responsibility of the operator. No liability shall be
taken by the supplier or manufacturer for mis-use.
Only use saw chains and guide bars recommended in the operating instructions for the model of
machine.
Any modifications to the machine will void the manufacturer’s warranty.
Also when using the chainsaw there always remains residual risk/s, which cannot be excluded.
From the type and construction of the chainsaw, the following potential endangerments can be
derived from (but not limited to):
o
Contact with the unprotected sawing chain (cuts).
o
Unexpected, sudden movement of the sawing sword (cuts).
o
Damage of the ears, if no prescribed protection of the ears is worn.
o
Inhalation of poisonous particles and exhaust gases from the engine.
o
Contact with petrol onto the skin or into the eyes.
o
Noise - A degree of noise from the machine cannot be avoided. Routine noisy work is to be
licensed and limited to certain periods. Keep to rest periods and restrict the working hours
to a minimum.
o
For their personal protection and protection of people working nearby, an appropriate
hearing protection shall be worn.
