Functions

Temporary Tone Dial Switchover

If you are using the pulse dialling because your telephone line doesn't
support tone dialling, you might not be able to access certain external
services (e.g. automatic call centres, voice mailboxes, interactive telephone
systems etc.), because they need the tone dialling. You can avoid this
limitation and access them anyway doing this:

Enter the number of the service you need to access as you do
normally.

Press and hold the

key until " " is displayed: your phone is

temporarily to the tone dial mode.

Slide the handset open and press the

key to engage the line.

When you hang up, the phone automatically returns to the pulse
mode.

Intercom

If you connected more than one handset to a base (you can connect up to 5
handsets to the same base), you can have a conversation between two
people using two different handsets.

If the called party can answer your call, he/she can press the

key

and start talking. You can see the number of the handset of your
called party and the

icon in your LCD display.

Press the number of the handset you want to contact (from 1 to 5).
Then the called handset starts to ring.

Pick up the handset and press the

At the end of the conversation press the

key to return to Standby

Find the desired number in the phonebook.

Press the

key to view the details of the selected entry.

Using Phonebook Entries Options

You can edit, delete or dial it in the Phonebook as follows:

SIM Card Reading

With this feature you can copy the contents of your mobile phone's SIM
card phonebook into the phonebook of your DECT cordless phone.

Disconnect the telephone line (for security reasons as below stated).

Open the SIM card slot cover in the bottom of the base by moving
downward the SIM card latch, then remove the cover and keep it.
