USB operations
Device selection
It works only when the USB device plugged in the Player. Press GOTO button at stop mode and
select one device on the menu; then press ENTER button to enable the selected device mode.
File management menu selection.
It works at stop mode only. Press INFO button at the position of a file or folder what you want, then
the following menu will be appeared on the screen.
Copy (DVD -> USB, USB -> USB)
You can copy a selected file or folder to the Target folder in USB memory. After selection of a file or
folder what you want to copy, press INFO button then select “Copy”. File size and copy information
will be shown on the top left side of the screen, and when the copy is completed, “Finish” will appear
on the screen. If the Target folder name or file names are same as the selected Folder name or file
names, it will not work.
Move (USB -> USB)
You can move the selected files to another folder in the USB memory. Operation process is same as
copying.
Delete (in USB mode only)
You can delete a file or folder. Operation process is same as copying.
Rename (in USB mode only)
You can change the name of selected file or folder. After selecting a file or folder that you want to
change the name of, press INFO button, then select “Rename”. You can write the name with On-
screen button pad by pressing cursor buttons and ENTER button. Press STOP button to finish the
name change. Press CANCEL button to cancel the name change. Press PREV button to move back.
Select (DVD, USB)
It selects some files in the DVD disc or in the USB device to copy at one time to another folder in
USB device or to delete and move at one time from USB memory only. Press INFO button, then
choose “Select”. Select files that you want to copy or delete by pressing ENTER button. Press STOP
button to finish the file selection. Press INFO button, then select a function menu such as “Copy” or
“Delete” to copy or delete the selected files. When the selection is completed, the select mode will be
cancelled automatically. To cancel the select function without using “Copy” or “Delete” function,
choose “Select” again and “SELECT OFF” message will appear on the screen.
New Folder
It creates a new folder in USB device memory only. Press INFO button and select “New Folder”,
then you can write the new folder name with On-screen button pad by pressing cursor buttons and
ENTER button.
Properties (DVD, USB)
It shows all information of file or folder. Press INFO button and select “Properties”, then you can see
the file or folder information.
Cancel
It cancels all Copy, Move, Delete, Rename, Select, New Folder and Properties functions.
Data Transferring (DVD -> USB, USB -> USB)
Connect a USB device to the USB port. Insert data disc into the player. Press GOTO button to
move to USB memory mode and select “Target Folder” by pressing PBC button and move back
to the DVD drive mode by pressing GOTO button again.
Press INFO button, then choose “Select” and select all files what you want to copy by pressing
ENTER button. Press STOP button to finish the selection.
Note: Data means a small size movie file (MPEG4, DivX, XViD, DAT, VOB files), music file (MP3,
ASF files) and photo files (JPEG, BMP files).
