Wire features
It is necessary to use different types of wires in the electrical system of the vehicle,
according to requirements.
The quality of the wires used by the Body Builder in the construction work must be
equal or superior to those used by HMC in the original vehicle. As a general rule,
they must have a minimum temperature resistance of up to 105° C, but up to 150° C
in the engine room and around the exhaust system. For electrical work, the use of
components supplied by HMC is recommended.
The wire section is selected according to current, and must be properly protected
by means of fuses.
See chapter 7.2.3 "Fuse features".

NOTICE
- The table should only be taken into account for reference. The size of each
wire should be decided, depending on the usage environment (temperature,
vibration, durability).
- If the wires are long, it might be necessary to select wires with a higher section
than indicated in the table, to reduce voltage drop.
