Starting

Before starting the motor, make sure the
scarifier is on the lawn, but not sitting on
long grass.

Push and hold in the safety button

(G)

on

the side of the handle.

Pull the Operator Presence Control lever

(B)

back to start motor.

Make sure the cable is well away from the
cutting blade.

Stopping

To stop the motor, release the OPC lever

(B)

WARNING!

Once the motor has been

switched off, the cutter continues running for
several seconds. Do not touch the underside
of the machine until the cutter has come to a
standstill.
