Starting Procedure

Electric Start

Pull the Operator Presence Control (OPC) lever back towards the main handlebar.

See image 2.

Push the start button for 3 seconds, repeat until the engine starts.

Hold the drive lever against the main handlebar and the mower will propel forward.

OPC Lever

Make sure the blade is free of long grass and the cutting height is set to the highest setting.

From cold, pump the primer bulb 5 times. You do not need to do this for warm start. (Warm
start is when the machine has been turned off for less than 15-20 minutes).
