Basic Operations
After the above operations are completed, you can adjust
power via one of the following operations:
1) Shortcut Operations:
PTT:
to test whether the radio can receive signals from
the patrol transmitter.
TK
: to adjust Tx power of the patrol transmitter
automatically, making its Tx signal strength reach the
preset value (the value is programmed into the patrol
radio in advance via the radio’s programming software).
SK1
: to increase Tx power of the patrol transmitter.
SK2
: to decrease Tx power of the patrol transmitter.
2) Menu Operations:
Press
OK
to enter the menu, and then select from the
following menus:
Signal Test:
with the same function as
PTT
.
Auto Adjust:
with the same function as
TK
.
Manual Adjust:
use ▲/▼ to adjust TX power of the
patrol transmitter after the menu is entered.
Note:
1) Wireless power adjustment is only for TX-92 Patrol
Transmitter.
2) The patrol radio is allowed to enter the Wireless Power
Adjust mode (It is required to program the patrol radio
via the radio’s programming software).
3) For TX-92 Patrol Transmitter, power adjustment is allowed
(it is required to program TX-92 Patrol Transmitter via
the TX-92 Programming Software).
4) Two or more patrol transmitters are not allowed to
enter Power Adjust & Program Mode simultaneously.
And it is recommended that no other patrol transmitters
are transmitting during the operations; otherwise the
stability of current operations will be affected.
HEB Encrypt
To ensure communication safety, the radio provides the
HEB Encrypt function. You can switch between Encrypted
Mode & Normal Mode and switch key numbers via the
menus or the dealer programmed keys.
Encrypt
Available ways to switch between Encrypted Mode &
Normal Mode:
a) Press the dealer programmed
Encrypt
key.
b) Go to Function –> HEB Encrypt –> Encrypt Mode
menu.
