Installing the SIM Card
1.
Insert the removal tool into the hole on the SIM card tray, and push until the tray pops out.

Place the SIM card with the gold contacts facing up on the tray.

Slide the SIM card tray back into the slot.

Attaching the Battery
1.
Insert the top end of the battery into the top of the battery slot.
2.
Press the bottom end of the battery until the latch snaps into place.
To remove the battery, turn off the radio, and then slide the battery latch upwards to unlock the battery.

Attaching the Antenna
1.
Place the antenna in its receptacle.
2.
Rotate the antenna clockwise until hand tight.
Do not hold the radio by the antenna, as it may reduce the radio performance and life span of the antenna.

Attaching the Belt Clip
1.
Align the rails on the belt clip with the grooves on the battery.

Press the belt clip downwards into place.

Attaching the Audio Accessory
For optimal waterproof and dustproof performance, close the accessory connector cover and fasten the
screw when no accessory is attached.
1.
Turn the screw on the accessory connector cover counterclockwise, and open the cover.
2.
Insert the accessory plug into the top of the accessory connector.
3.
Turn the screw on the accessory plug clockwise until hand tight.
