European Directives 2012/19/EU requires that the equipment bearing this symbol on
the product and/or its packaging must not be disposed of with unsorted municipal
waste. The symbol indicates that this product must be disposed of separately from
regular household waste streams. It is your responsibility to dispose of this and other
electric and electronic equipment via designated collection facilities appointed by the
government or local authorities.
IMPORTANT WARNING NOTES
Failure to comply with any of the following will invalidate the pump warranty.
1. This pump should ONLY be used to dispense AdBlue®.
2. It must not be sited adjacent to a petrol dispenser or in any other hazardous
zone.
3. Assembly of this equipment and its associated pipe work and fittings should only
be carried out by qualified fuel installation engineers.
4. The installation must conform to all relevant electrical and local authority
regulations and standards.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The pump kit is designed to pump AdBlue
®
from a standard 1000-litre intermediate
bulk container (IBC). The pump is fitted with a manual nozzle (AB.PKIM, AB.12IK,
AB.24IK) or an automatic nozzle and meter (AB.PKIA, AB.12IKA, AB.PKI).
INSTALLATION AND PRIMING
1. Remove the pump unit and all accessories from the box and packaging.
2. Fit straight hose tail to the pump inlet & 90° elbow to pump outlet.
3. Fit suction hose (short hose) to the pump inlet and delivery hose (long hose) to
pump outlet. Use supplied clips to secure hoses.
4. Fit CDS connector and delivery nozzle to the suction and delivery hoses
securing with the supplied clips.
5. Hang pump assembly on the IBC using the attached bracket.
6. Attach suction coupling (CDS connector) to the IBC and lock into place.
7. Connect to a suitable power supply as follows:
230V AC operated models:
Brown -Live (Fused at 10A)
Blue -Neutral
Yellow/Green – Earth
12 V DC operated models:
Red = Positive, Black = Negative.
24 V DC operated models:
Red = Positive, Black = Negative.
