To replace the proximity sensor or breakaway assembly
1. To remove the red magnetic breakaway, pull down on it and rotate it at the same time. (It will be easier if the torch is
still attached.)
Caution: The red magnet is powerful and
can cause injury. Do not catch
fingers or other objects between
the two halves of the magnet.

7. Use a small flat-blade screwdriver to disconnect the black ohmic contact wire from the J1 terminal block
(labeled “Shield”).
Note: When reconnecting the ohmic contact wire, it does not matter which of the two J1 terminals it is connected
to.
8. Reverse the order of the steps for reassembly.
Note: Only finger-tighten the plastic nuts to avoid damage.
