Attach both ends to the binocular holders as shown in the following illustrations.
INTERPUPILLARY DISTANCE ADJUSTMENT
To adjust the interval between the eyepieces to the wearer's pupils, grasp the two
halves of the binoculars and squeeze or widen them with the hinge that connects them.
Adjust the spacing so that you can see a circular image without shadows or distortions
when looking through the binoculars.
FOCUS AND DIOPTRE ADJUSTMENT
Many people have a slightly different visual acuity for each eye. This applies both to
those wearing and those not wearing glasses or contact lenses. What's more, one wearer's
focus may not be the same as the other, even if both wearers are not wearing glasses or
contact lenses.
If, despite using the full range of adjustment, the user's eyesight cannot be adjusted,
they should consult an ophthalmologist or optometrist to examine their eyesight.
Once interpupillary distance adjustment has been set, adjust the optics of the
binoculars so that the image is sharp. To do this effectively, look through the glasses
at a clearly visible and illuminated object at a distance of at least 50m with your left
eye (it is best to close the right one). Focus is regulated using center focus knob,
adjusting the knob in one direction or the other.
When the focus is set on the left eye, do the same with
the right eye. To do this, adjust the right eyepiece so
that the "+" and "-" marks are in the neutral position, as
shown in the following figure. Looking through the
binocular rotate the dioptre adjustment ring to bring the
object into focus in the right side of the binocular same
as it is with the left eye.
